High Speed Rail designations, looks like the poor West is getting isolated and the East is getting totally hooked up.
That’s bogus. Hook Portland to San Francisco, guyz.

hmm. but in the lower right-hand corner it says “October 2005.”
Does anybody know where this image came from? I semi-traced it back to a Huffington Post article whose text had no relationship with this graphic. I hope somebody didn’t grab the first gif from Google image search.

Sarah Palin! HA HA HA HA HAAAAA!!!! I love to think of the meeting where THAT happened. “It seems as though there is a previously undiscovered SECOND GENDER! Perhaps we should draw our running mate from that pool!” “what a novel and brilliant idea, sir.

No More Greenscreen Paint at Mini-Bar Prices:

dalasverdugo:

supersecretdownlowhollywoodradar:

Rosco Chroma Key Green, the industry standard greenscreen paint, is priced at a ridiculous $65 per gallon, which means every time you want to go from white cyc to greenscreen on an average sized stage, it costs at least $500 just for the damn paint.

After considerable research and testing, I stumbled upon a marvelous little secret… Home Depot’s “Disney Color” paint by Behr has a color in its collection called “Gamma Sector Green” (DC4B-50-5) that is indistinguishable from the Chroma Key Green…

…and it’s a mere $15 per gallon. That’s a savings of 77%.

For all my low-budge homies.

Note: New Tina Fey movie!
I did the math. The numbers say: comedy gold. But, Tina has be allowed to be the Tina character. Be careful, Tina chefs.

August 15, 2008 Tina Fey Dating Steve Carell!!! Posted by Jarett Wieselman at 09:20 AM on August 15, 2008 Wrapped under: MoviesMovies steve-carell-tina-fey.jpg In the best movie news I’ve heard in quite a while, Tina Fey and Steve Carell are getting married! Well, on screen in “Date Night,” at least, which is good enough for me because Tina’s new restraining order would prevent me from watching them at home if they wed for realzies. In the film, Steve and Tina, a.k.a., the funniest actors NBC has, find that their routine date night gets hijacked by a series of misadventures. “I wanted to do a relatable, grounded character comedy about marriage and the lengths we go to preserve the spark,” director Shawn Levy told Daily Variety. Is it just me or does “Date Night” have hit written all over it? You’re taking the funniest actress working today and pairing her with a brilliant comedian that always brings a brilliant twist to his movies - even “Evan Almighty.” Seriously, I saw it on cable and I actually laughed twice. “Sheeeeeeeeeeeep!” Hehe, still gets me. Putin’s soul
INSERT DESCRIPTIONNot Vladimir Putin Apropos of nothing much, but way back when, when George W. Bush — displaying those instincts he prefers to careful analysis — proclaimed his satisfaction with what he saw of Putin’s soul, my instincts told me that Putin looked an awful lot like Number 5 from From Russia With Love. I recently Tivoed the movie, and I think I was closer to the mark.
